Installing a WordPress blog with a yahoo store, the right way to help SEO

To start make sure that your store is set to store editor and not webhosting as the steps are different and make sure to uninstall any other blogs on the domain.

1. Start by going to the WHCP and choose the option to install a WordPress blog, when it asks you where you would like to install,  select the default folder, “blog”
2. walk thru the normal steps and install
3. next you will need to make a subdomain, to do that goto your domain control panel, click on “manage domain and subdomains” and add a subdomain named “blog”
4. go to the blog or type in blog.domain.tld it should redirect to site.domain.tld/blog. we will change that in the blogs settings.
5. when you log in to the blog administrator on the left hand side of the blog you can see a link called settings, click on that and then “general”. In the general there is “wordpress address (url)” and “blog address (url)” it will say site.domain.tld/blog. Just change the url to blog.domain.tld on both, when you hit save on the bottom it will log you out and you will need to sign it but now every page on your blog will appear as blog.domain.tld on every page and build your permalinks from there.
