today was the first roll out of what i am sure many updates in 2010 for Yahoo stores and Yahoo Merchant solutions. If you are not aware of what they released check out the yahoo store blog @ http://www.ystoreblog.com/blog/2010/01/january-2010-release-notes/
One nice thing they talk about is “bringing you customer registration features in 2010 has been one of our top development priorities over the last several months” now that is something that i look forward to as a yahoo MS customer and Developer!!

so most pages in the yahoo store or Merchant Solutions store are a nice width of 760px, now that is small but not by much. i would like to share with you an easy to use and easy to change page width formula for the yahoo store. it is here all you have to do is enter the width that you would like your page to be and that will spit out the CSS code needed to change it.

today i will talk about RTML code. i will not waste time on telling you how it started and got its name, i will leave that to Wikipedia. what i will be writing about will be how to get started on your store. how to make a copy of the main template and how to compile some code. just note i will not be using images to show as i am lazy today. so to start we need to go into the store editor and we should all know how to go there. and once you are in the store editor make sure you are in “advanced mode” once in advanced mode lets keep it there by going into “controls” and for the option “Default Editor Mode” choose “advanced” and sense we are in there lets change “Site Buttons” to “Every Page”.
